Swashbuckling Cats, Ahoy!

Tyche Books’ anthology, Swashbuckling Cats: Nine Lives on the Seven Seas, is out in the wild today!

It is, as you may have guessed, an anthology of short fiction featuring stories about pirate cats. Here’s the blurb:

If you think cats and water don’t mix, think again. SwashbucklingCats-lg
Plunge into worlds of piratical cats: some selfish, some mischievous, all fond of hitting the catnip stash. From ships on the deep blue sea, to ships flying through the depths of space, and even visiting from beyond the veil, these cats are determined and on a mission.

Featuring thirteen “tails” of adventure-loving cats, puns, and fun by: Megan Fennell; S.G. Wong; Rebecca Brae; Grace Bridges; Lizz Donnelly; Blake Liddell; Frances Pauli; JB Riley; Joseph Halden; Leslie Van Zwol; Krista D. Ball; Chadwick Ginther; Rose Strickman; and Beth Cato.

As you may have also guessed, I have a story in this one.
“The Growing of the Green” is loosely inspired by real life Irish pirate queen Grainne O’Malley and is chock full of bad puns, pot jokes, and much hissing. Which, if you know me at all, most of those things are not at all unusual.
Without further ado, the ALL IMPORTANT purchase links.
Ebooks available through Barnes and Noble  Apple, and others. Full list HEREon the Tyche Books site. Check out the rest of their catalog.
Print books available through the Owl’s Nest Bookstore in Calgary. You can find other places on the Tyche site but I’m going to encourage you to buy from an Indie Bookstore because they, like small presses, are STRUGGLING during this crisis.
Enjoy the book! I can’t wait for my copy so I can read the rest of the stories.
